Work created for the 1st Ciudad de Pamplona Art Installation Contest, organized by Aedas Homes in collaboration with the City Council. One of the main requirements of the call for entries was to explore the relationship between the artwork and the space where it would be exhibited: a perfectly preserved 16th-century oven located in Ciudadela Park. The proposal plays on the double meaning of its title —in Spanish, Como el Sol can mean to look like the sun or to eat the sun in the first-person singular— and links the oven and food to energy, the ultimate purpose of nourishing, combining a huge fake but symbolic sun with real food in the form of small round yellow candies that visitors can eat and convert into energy
Obra creada para el I Concurso de Instalaciones Artísticas Ciudad de Pamplona, organizado por Aedas Homes en colaboración con el Ayuntamiento. Uno de los principales requisitos de la convocatoria era explorar la relación entre la obra de arte y el espacio donde se expondría: un horno del siglo XVI perfectamente conservado, situado en el Parque de la Ciudadela. La propuesta juega con el doble sentido de su título —Como el Sol en español puede significar parecerse al sol o comérselo en primera persona del singular— y vincula el horno y la comida con la energía, el objetivo último de la alimentación, combinando un enorme sol falso pero simbólico con comida real en forma de pequeños caramelos redondos y amarillos que los visitantes pueden convertir en energía
