Work created for the 1st Ciudad de Pamplona Art Installation Contest, organized by Aedas Homes in collaboration with the Pamplona City Council. One of the main requirements of the call was to explore the relationship between the artwork and the space where it would be exhibited: a perfectly preserved 16th-century oven located in the Citadel Park. The proposal plays on the double meaning in its title —Como el Sol in Spanish can mean to resemble the sun or to eat it in the first person singular— and links the oven and food to energy, the ultimate goal of nourishment, by combining a false but symbolic sun with real food in the form of round, yellow candies that visitors can pick up and turn into energy
